Dear all, We hope that the second half of 2024 has started well – we are sure that it’s just as busy as always for you! The EY Campus Recruitment team have just entered another busy period. You might have seen us back on campus promoting the roles we have yet to fill. Applications will remain open until all roles are filled, and while we’re close to completing recruitment for some of our teams, we are still seeking applicants for our Tax, Assurance, Consulting and Strategy and Transactions service lines for both vacationers and graduates. Attached are our comms plan and assets for you to use should you wish to promote our events. Career Compass Program Applications are still open for our Career Compass Program and will close on 23 August. This program is designed to give students a first-hand experience of EY so that they can find out as much as possible about EY people, culture, how EY teams operate and provide services, and most importantly, how we can help them to build their future. To be eligible for the Career Compass Program, students are required to be on track to complete their studies in 2026 and be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident. Applications are available here. Other upcoming events Meet the Hiring Manager – Business Commerce and Accounting students Our Meet the Hiring Manager event is back by popular demand! Students will have the opportunity to meet and ask questions of EY professionals from our service lines in Tax and Assurance, and will learn more about what working in each of our service lines is like. This event is perfect for students wanting to understand more about what a career at EY could look like. In a rapidly changing business and tax environment, EY Tax professionals combine agility, diverse thought, tax technical depth and the power of technology and analytics to provide exceptional client service. Digital flyer is attached. Why should students participate? Entering the Tax Consulting Challenge will give students the opportunity to: • Start making contacts who can drive their career forward • Learn about global and diverse career opportunities in tax; and • Develop their case competition skills. The competition is split into three stages. Throughout, we look for evidence of problem-solving skills, commercial awareness and critical thinking. The details Applications are open now. Students can enter via the Tax Consulting Challenge website before 30 August 2024. To be eligible to enter this competition, students must be intending to complete their studies between 2025 and 2027, and be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident. Tax and Tax Consulting Challenge Information Event For students who are interested in finding out more about the Tax Consulting Challenge and interested in a career in tax, we are hosting an information event. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from EY Tax professionals across various disciplines, as well as receiving some helpful tips and advice for applying to the Tax Consulting Challenge.
