Hello, I was just wondering whether we will need to be doing any database algebra within the exam. By this, I mean the equations with pi, sigma, etc for creating select statements, etc. Just so I know what to brush up on last minute. Thank you

If you look on the lecture content section of the LMS it states in the Transactions section 'Transactions are not included in the final exam.'

Hi, I have a quick question regarding the SQL questions in the sample paper. If a question, such as Question 8, specifies a hint to use a subquery, would using JOIN operations instead still be acceptable for a full mark?

Thank you for the quick reply. In a case if a subclass subclasses don't have their own attributes, then there would be a need to include flags. Is that right?
