It was stated that we are supposed to answer the sql quiz based on our own logical model representations, but if we do that the answers are wrong because we have to follow a certain schema set by the quiz. So are we supposed to answer based on our logical model or the schema?

There was a solution provided I believe, and the questions mention any ambiguous attributes/entities that may exist. I would suggest trying the questions, and observing the output, that will show what the expected attributes are, and the question would mention any additional entities that are being used.
