I have not been able to run SQLite3 on the terminal on my Mac as I have been met with this error (copied from my Mac's terminal): dyld[58559]: Library not loaded: @rp*th/libedit.0.dylib Referenced from: <65158E30-9329-3361-B3B4-410BCC333E0B> /opt/anaconda3/bin/sqlite3 Reason: tried: '/opt/anaconda3/lib/libedit.0.dylib' (no such file), '/System/Volumes/Preboot/Cryptexes/OS/opt/anaconda3/lib/libedit.0.dylib' (no such file), '/opt/anaconda3/bin/../lib/libedit.0.dylib' (no such file), '/opt/anaconda3/lib/libedit.0.dylib' (no such file), '/System/Volumes/Preboot/Cryptexes/OS/opt/anaconda3/lib/libedit.0.dylib' (no such file), '/opt/anaconda3/bin/../lib/libedit.0.dylib' (no such file), '/usr/local/lib/libedit.0.dylib' (no such file), '/usr/lib/libedit.0.dylib' (no such file, not in dyld cache) Abort trap: 6 I have also tried the 'pip install sqlite3' command which also hasn't worked and has displayed the following: Could not find platform independent libraries <prefix> Consider setting $PYTHONHOME to <prefix>[:<exec_prefix>] Fatal Python error: initfsencoding: unable to load the file system codec ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'encodings' Current thread 0x00007ff852c637c0 (most recent call first): Abort trap: 6 In the meantime I am restricted to typing sql queries on my home PC and Virtual Machine on my Mac. Since I cannot import the given databases on my Mac's VM, I am not able to interact with the databases despite being able to run sql on the VM. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, Some of our lab facilitators have Macbooks. Did they try to troubleshoot the problem? Mehwish
