I have not been able to run SQLite3 on the terminal on my Mac as I have been met with this error (copied from my Mac's terminal):

I have also tried the 'pip install sqlite3' command which also hasn't worked and has displayed the following:
Could not find platform independent libraries <prefix>
Consider setting $PYTHONHOME to <prefix>[:<exec_prefix>]
Fatal Python error: initfsencoding: unable to load the file system codec
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'encodings'

In the meantime I am restricted to typing sql queries on my home PC and Virtual Machine on my Mac. Since I cannot import the given databases on my Mac's VM, I am not able to interact with the databases despite being able to run sql on the VM. Any help is greatly appreciated.
