Just looked at the workshop recording and the sample solution shown does reflect my understanding of when the syscalls are performed. In this screenshot of the workshop, the sleep syscall occurs at CPU=3 which corresponds to total time = 8, and the context change occurs from total time = 8 until total time = 18, while total time = 19 is the first idle usec.
