No, I have tried that and I'm sure that after spawning a new process, the shell's status was RUNNING->READY. If you try this command file in the sample solution, you can't find any BLOCKED status.

And I have one more problem, there is no such status 'WAITING' in project description, but a process's status will be WAITING after wait system call. Can I regard it as BLOCKED?
