> Hello! When we read the crontab file execution times (expressions), how do we relay this information to the system and what do we do with the estimates time information? I get how to store the data but am unsure of the 'linking' process of timing these tasks and executing them at the given time. If this makes sense at all, please help! Thanks.
(your question is a little confusing, but) we use the estimates of execution time to determine when a process should terminate. If a command starts at 10:00am, and it's estimated to run for 9 minutes, we 'say' that it has terminated somewhere between 10:08 and 10:09am. You can (should) experiment with this question using the sample solution.
