It's not an error message, just an 'announcement' printed by your zsh that the execution state of your process has changed. There's an explanation of what's happening (in the case of vim) here: [help2002] The message is not being returned; your running process is suspended (no longer running) and you should see the next shell prompt printed on the screen. It really suggests (to me) that you're typing Control-Z while your program is running.
