I created a recursion tree in the workshop. For every problem you need to ponder over what kind of work is "repeated work". At one point in the labs/or workshop we are also going to do TSP using dynamic programming to expand your horizon. In the exam, no new problem will be given. Regarding the table, yes you got to create it first and then do back-tracking. Happy to help further during the consultation hours or after the workshop (not this week as the tutor will take it).
