Don't panic. You'd be best to learn some basic terminal commands before you go forward. You've started off in the right place, using the terminal to type in commands; these commands will do things with text that you'd normally use clicks to do, like change folders, rename things, copy and paste.

The command you've typed in the screenshot is cd, which stands for change directory. This will move you to another folder, so it will only work if you're starting off in the right folder.

I can see from the screenshot you posted that you typed the command in once and it worked, then you typed it in again and you got an error. This is the thing with terminal: if you type in a command and it works successfully, usually nothing obvious happens. You mostly only get feedback if you did something wrong.

I suggest you read up on and practice the terminal commands. Here's a site to get you started : https://www.dummies.com/computers/macs/mac-operating-systems/how-to-use-basic-unix-commands-to-work-in-terminal-on-your-mac/
