If the appropriate Windows folder is in your PATH variable
just type the program name otherwise type the full pathname
of the executable.

Example:  $ firefoxe.exe

launches Windows Firefox if folder /mnt/c/Program Files (x86)/Mozilla Firefox/
is in your PATH.

$ '/mnt/c/Program Files (x86)/Mozilla Firefox/firefox.exe'

launches Windows Firefox without needing to set the PATH variable.
