Hi all,

The University Computer Club (UCC) is running an "Introduction to LaTeX" next week -
there's a Facebook event for it, here:

https://www.facebook.com/events/3432711633496742/

LaTeX is the typesetting software used to produce the lecture slide and lab worksheet
PDFs for CITS4407, and is the standard format for writing computer science and
mathematics papers.

Even if you don't think you'll ever write scholarly papers in those fields - the way
maths equations are written in LaTeX is used across a range of other software packages,
so it may still be worth learning about.

Cheers,

Arran
