Hi Arran,

I tried the same instruction last time, but it did not work. It is shown that "Permission
to access private repositories has been granted. If you are a member of 'cits4407', please
try to request access for Gitpod." How could we use the gitpod this time? Thank you.

Best,

Hi Haixin.

Not using the repository that's in GitHub classrooms, I don't think.

Because people made their assignment 1 code public on GitHub, the repositories you've got this time
round have only limited capabilities. You can push to and pull from them, but unlike with a
repository you create the normal way, you don't "own" them, and don't have permissions to change
their settings. And it appears that includes, making use of GitPod.

You _could_ still use GitPod, by creating a private repository and pushing your commits into it. I
won't be giving instructions on how to do this, however - you'll have to work it out for yourself,
and take care that you're not making anything public. If I give step-by-step instructions, then I
suspect at least a few people will just not follow them carefully, and will end up making their
code public.

Cheers

Arran
