Hi, First off, please bear in mind that everything in brackets can be ignored (and Sudan, given the ambiguity about which Sudan we're talking about). The truth is that this is intended as a Shell programming exercise, not real data-science. The teaching point, however, is the recognition that data-science analyses typically involve a great deal of data cleaning/data normalisation, so things that really are identical are identically represented.
