Hi Terra, For our purposes, "it's" is a possessive under the rules I set up, but 'em and pickin' are just a words (not a contractions) - see previous discussion. As I said, this is a first cut at an NLP task, and while it's interesting how far you can get with simple methods, they are inherently limited Cheers MichaelW
