Hi Michael. Sorry, if I ask, but I don't understand why I couldn't make days work. This is the demonstration you did this Monday lecture and I just want to try it by myself. Thanks!!!

Hi, There are a couple possible explanations. The first is that, as well as #!/bin/bash at the start, you also need to made the file executable: i.e. chmod u+x days (or chmod 700 days). The other possibility is that the shell doesn't know where to look for the file. If you can do: ./days mon then the current directory (.) is not in PATH so won't be searched as a possible location for the script. Makes sense? Cheers MichaelW
