Please consider offering answers and suggestions to help other students! And if you fix a problem by following a suggestion here, it would be great if other interested students could see a short "Great, fixed it!"  followup message.

Hi, is there a reason why all the posts related to the final exam have been deleted?

Hi,

Apologies, that was inadvertent. A student advised me they were having trouble posting, and in the process of troubleshooting, I'm afraid the forum posts were deleted. October is unfortunately the most recent backup I have, but I'll investigate whether anything more recent is backed up elsewhere.

Arran

Hi Arran, are there any updates in regard to the project marks? Many of us have two exams tomorrow, and unfortunately since the project weighs quite a lot, having this mark will be a big help in determining how much time I need to allocate for this unit and for the other.

Will this be available to us today or should we not count on it?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Thanks for your post. Unfortunately, the project marks won't be available today.

If you need assistance prioritising your study efforts, the University's Academic Skills Centre has resources that might be of help. In addition to that, I recommend focusing on the lab exercises, in particular, with a view to ensuring you understand the concepts we covered, and also taking a high-level look at the topics we covered throughout the semester and how they relate. The textbooks and other recommended readings are often helpful for putting particular topics in context.

Best of luck with your exams.

Regards

Arran

Hi Arran. May I know when the grade for the exam would be available? It seems you mentioned in a post yesterday it will be available today, but I still can't find it.

Hi,

I assume you mean the project? Exam marks won't be available until final semester grades are released.

I had originally hoped to have project marks for on-time submissions available yesterday, but due to some unexpected issues related to the unit, I wasn't able to meet that deadline.

I've received students' exam scripts from the Exams Office, and over the next few days, my focus will be on organizing the exam marking process, as the markers have many papers to work through and a tight deadline. But rest assured that I will release the project marks as soon as possible. Given the busy time of semester, I'm unable to provide a specific date for the release right now.

Thank you for your patience.

Regards,

Arran
