To answer the question, ask yourself: for each field type (and ignoring the first row), what can appear here that makes no sense. I don’t mean random gibberish, but someone simply mistyping. So, for example, they wouldn’t deliberately have -1 as a month, but could have 13, or 21. Apropos "dropped", recapping an earlier posting, it simply amounts to not printing on standard output any line containing an error. (Error messages to stderr.) Cheers MichaelW
