Hello, If certain months do not have any incidents, are they excluded when calculating the median and MAD? For example, say we have jan- 0 feb - 0 mar - 0 apr - 0 may - 0 jun - 0 jul - 0 aug - 0 sep - 0 oct - 43 nov - 14 dec - 55 If we use all the months the median will be zero, however, if we only use the months that actually have incidents then the median will not be zero, it will be 43. So what is the right thing for us to do? Is it to calculate the median for the months that have incidents ONLY, or use all the months in the median calculation regardless if they have an incident or not, therefore having the median be 0 in this example?
