Pretty sure they have to stick to what's in the outline, i.e. 7 days with penalties. I've never even seen a unit with a hard deadline on the original due date, so I doubt there's one for this unit.

Hi Michael, I'm just trying to figure out the best way to compare years to determine past future tense in the output. Is it okay to hard code the present year to use for comparison, or should we use something like the existing 'date' command from Bash?...
