The programs chapter0, csbreakdown, cssubmit, csmarks, and the various cshelp help fora, employ two web-cookies in the domain csse.uwa.edu.au

• csmauth is a randomly generated 32-character string used to uniquely identify logged-in users. The cookie is generated when the user logs into any of the above programs, and persists until the user explictly logs off, or after 4 hours of inactivity. The string itself does not contain any identifying information, either in plaintext or encrypted.

  The only information identified by the csmauth cookie is the user's 8-digit UWA Pheme identifier, their role (student or staff), their UWA email address, and their real-name.
  

• csmuniq is a randomly generated 32-character string, only used to count the number of active/online users in each of the cshelp help fora. Any record of cshelp help fora activity is purged after 5 minutes of inactivity in each forum, and is never saved on disk. The string itself does not contain any identifying information, either in plaintext or encrypted.
