As you know, we are shifting to online mode from Monday 23.03.20. You will be
able to access online lab sessions for CITS 3003 via Zoom. To access, you will need
to do the following:
We will setup a Zoom meeting during each scheduled lab session. To join in, you can
directly use the following link https://uwa.zoom.us/j/4434972922. Just copy-paste
this link to your web browser and it will directly take you to our online session.
This is the easiest way. There are multiple other ways, including; downloading zoom
and using that to join. You may need the Meeting ID in that case, which is

How you should operate in the lab sessions?
I recommend that you join in a session only when there is a query and 'leave
meeting' when your query has been answered. This way, we will be able to limit the
traffic to keep smooth operation. You can enter each session (using the same URL of
the Meeting ID) as many times as you like (and subsequently leave the session). If
you enter the session and the Lab Facilitator is busy with other student, you can
also try to type in the query that can be answered by any other participant.
Depending on how it goes, we may even allow rooms (online) in the sessions in the
future where the students can help each other by voice chatting.
We will keep you informed of any changes (if required) in the future regarding the
online lab sessions. I understand that the sudden shift in the mode of learning can
be overwhelming for some of you. Hence, I am keeping the announcements and
instructions minimal. If you have any query in this regard, please feel free to
drop me an email. The unit website has also been updated. I will be updating it
further to streamline the online mode of teaching. So, I recommend to keep an eye
on that as well. You will be informed of all critical changes via announcements on
LMS and help3003. Thanks.
