Hi Everyone, What I usually do if I receive an email query whose answer could apply to the whole, is reply to the sender and then post the answer as a FAQ. Here is the first.

Don’t worry. We will be using automated testing, not automated marking. That is, the marking will be done by humans who can see that the two answers basically say the same thing. The precise words also don't matter, except where it becomes ambiguous or the meaning is changed. Fair enough?

Hello Michael, how about in some output (when Female is given as input) the output mentions the word Female, such as "The global maximum percentage of Female tobacco users in 2022 was in Nauru (NRU) at 48.1"

However when the inout is Male, the output doesn't mention it, such as "The global maximum percentage of tobacco users for Japan (JPN) was 52.4 in 2000"

So would it be okay if we do not follow the output format exactly?

Hi Eusha, Yes, it would be okay to ignore the output format in this particularly. Clearly my intention was to have Male where I would otherwise have Female, but I forgot to do that in my implementation and therefore in the examples. To be honest, I would much prefer that you did correct that in your systems, but you won't fail any tests by sticking with the format of the published examples. As I said in an earlier posting, people get cross if I change an assignment specification, and as it's a very minor point, I'm content to leave things as they are. So, either way, you're good.
