This forum is provided to promote discussion amongst students enrolled in CITS3002 Computer Networks.

Please consider offering answers and suggestions to help other students! And if you fix a problem by following a suggestion here, it would be great if other interested students could see a short "Great, fixed it!"  followup message. How do I ask a good question?

A Win–Win Approach: Maximizing Wi-Fi Performance Using Game Theory https://www.shibaura-it.ac.jp/en/headline/detail/20240416_7070_001.html "When a new user connects to a Wi-Fi network, their position, speed, and interference can negatively affect the performance of the entire network. To help minimize this problem, researchers from Japan have developed a novel cooperative strategy for connecting to wireless networks using game theory. By prompting users to move to optimal positions, the proposed technique achieves improvements in total throughput than other methods, which could be useful in low-traffic environments like libraries and classrooms."
