You're overthinking this. Yoru project will be tested with standard directories and files, with standard names, some identified with absolute pathnames, others with relative pathnames. There's no trickery. Yes, devote time to studying for the final exam. It contributes 50% of your assessment, and is worth far more than a handful of marks for tests in the 2nd project.
