(other than for about 5 students) the marking of all projects and exams is now complete. Results are still to be approved by a Board of Examiners' meeting, and will be released on Nov 28th. The summaries and histograms of our unit's components appear below. The stated average on the OVERALL histogram is misleading, because 29 students have a Deferred Exam, 16 students *potentially* have a Supplementary Exam, and students who were ABSENT from the final exam are included in the average if they've attempted >= 50% of all assessment (it's messy). So, the 'real' average for those completing is 63.2% with a pass-rate of 83.2% (so far) - far better than last year's average of 59.9% with a pass-rate of 71.3%. Something improved this year!
