> Can we assume that the input for the options will always be provided with somewhat valid inputs such as for -i and -o are they guaranteed to have the patterns after? Or are we expected to show an error to say that proper arguments havent been provided.
As you'll see in Monday's lecture, or if you read ahead, the getopt() function detects such problems, but it'll be up to your code to report any errors.
